"My given name is Evelyn K. Hendricks, I was born in Painesville, Ohio on Dec. 31, 1946. I started drawing when I was about 10 years old. When I went to JR Williams Jr. High in Painesville I took my first art class. I had no formal art education until later in life. I took classes locally at small art studios. In 1996 I went to Lakeland College and took life drawing, still life drawing, and jewelry making with silver. Since then I have taken many other classes at local art studios. I have entered the Burton Art Show about six times, Last year I received the Popular Choice Award for my painting Night Sky. I have been showing my artwork at MC Art Studio recently."
